The Berici Climbs itineraries were conceived from an idea, born from numerous trips abroad to the magnificent German capital, Berlin.
BERLINER RINGBAHN
Il Berliner Ringbahn, commonly called “RING”, is a very important cornerstone, if not the essence of urban transport. Built in 1871 and originally used for the transport of goods, it is called a "ring", even if its true shape is that of a dog's head and for this reason it is also called Dog head. Some even claim that the head is that of a basset hound, but this is definitely an excess of imagination.

With its four "cardinal points" represented by the stations of Westkreuz, Südkreuz, Ostkreuz and Gesundbrunnen, the Ring runs for 37 km and 27 stations and crosses seven of the twelve districts into which Berlin is divided.
The Berici Climbs itineraries were built with this Berlin model, where the cycle tourist can "climb on board" the Cycle Touring line identified by a: Number, color (degree of difficulty) and direction of travel (clockwise, anti-clockwise, one-way, one-way and return).
THE CYCLE TRACK
After choosing the line/itinerary, the cycle tourist will be able to enter the "cycle track” in one of the numerous cycle stations belonging to that specific itinerary. Just like in a metropolitan line, through the cycle stations the cyclist can start pedaling by entering the "track" following the recommended direction of travel. In this way the cycle tourist will not necessarily have to start the tour from the departure/arrival point but will be able to complete the itinerary starting and returning to any cycle station listed in the itinerary sheet!

For each itinerary, an exclusive map has been created with all the cycle stations and the direction of travel. Among the characteristics of the itinerary we find a very useful indication of the average travel time, the total difference in altitude, the km, the plan, altitude profile and the GPX track to download.
