These are the key points of the Berici Climbs Park, spectacular areas on which multiple climbs and itineraries converge.
They represent panoramic points for rest and refreshment after the fatigue of a climb.
Usually, almost all of them have fountains from which you can fill your water bottle and refreshment points where you can refresh yourself.
Located in the extreme northern point of the park, at 120 m above sea level, it represents the "stratospheric stage" over Vicenza and the entire northern part of the Berica province.
From the spectacular Piazzale della Vittoria built to celebrate the Italian victory in the First World War and to honor the fallen, you can enjoy a spectacular view over the entire pre-Alpine range, from the small Dolomites with the Pasubio and Carega group to the west, in the center you can see Mount Summano with the Asiago Plateau behind it and to the north east the monumental Monte Grappa, a mountain sacred to the homeland, stands proud. Monte Berico Santuario is an important crossing point for many itineraries and for the first four climbs of the hundred, the longest climb of the hundred also begins here, the No. 4 Dorsale dei Berici which crosses the entire northern block of the hills towards the south-east.
The Sanctuary of Monte Berico, in addition to being a beloved point of reference for all the Catholic faithful of Vicenza, is a place for pleasant and spiritual walks also thanks to the nearby Park of the Risorgimento Museum with its centuries-old trees.
There is a water fountain near the Sanctuary.
A hamlet in the municipality of Arcugnano, located at 329 m above sea level, it represents a crossroads for numerous climbs coming from both the north and east sides. Various itineraries also pass through Villabalzana.
It represents a bastion and a point of reference for all passionate climbers.
The bench and its fountain always guarantee a timely refill of the water bottles.
From Villabalzana you can continue southwards continuing to climb towards the crossroads of San Giovanni in Monte, or you can choose to descend towards Pianezze, Longara or Castegnero. Villabalzana is also the home of the Villabalzana Bike Day Partner Event organized by Cycling 3e60.
A hamlet in the municipality of Barbarano Mossano, located at an altitude of 393 m above sea level, it is called the "Stelvio dei Berici".
It represents the arrival point of numerous climbs and passage for as many itineraries.
Its square with the bench and the fresh water fountain is a small oasis especially on summer days to rest and refresh after a challenging climb.
It is a very important crossroads to pass from the northern block of the hills towards the roads of the southern block. The square features the war memorial, a bench for resting and a water fountain. From the square you can see the nearby church with the bell tower.
Not far from the square (behind the television repeaters) we also have the Cima Coppi dei Berici, the highest road point of the Berici Climbs Park, Monte Lungo with its 421 m above sea level
Grancona is a hamlet of the Val Liona municipality and is located in Quita 224 m above sea level.
It is the destination of numerous climbs of the southern block, ascending from the south and west sides.
The town is characterized by its enormous church located at the end of an immense panoramic square, a real terrace overlooking Val Liona. From here you can enjoy a superb panorama of the enormous fjord surrounded by the hills of the southern block and those surrounding the Pozzolo Valley.
You can stop to rest and fill your water bottle thanks to the always well-functioning fountain.
The Buso della Giareta is a crossroads, located in the municipality of Sarego at an altitude of 219 m above sea level
It is a crossroads of three roads and the arrival point of numerous climbs of the southern block on the south side. Some itineraries also pass through here. The crossroads is renowned for a restaurant of the same name and for the "Scala del Cielo" a spectacular descent/ascent that cuts across a series of rows of vineyards on the north-south axis.
The effect is superb, a strip of asphalt that takes on silver and iridescent colors at different times of the day and moves sinuously inside green vineyards, it is certainly one of the most spectacular and scenographic places in the entire park.
The church of Colle di Valmarana is located in the municipality of Altavilla Vicentina at an altitude of 148 m above sea level and is the arrival point of numerous climbs and passages of various itineraries.
The Colle di Valmarana belongs to the northern block of the Berici and the climbs to the northern side. The crossroads is characterized by the beautiful church, the war memorial but above all by the large tree, a gigantic centuries-old plant that stands out over the small cobbled roundabout. The place is absolutely characteristic and a wonderful point of spectacular sunrises on the hills. Nearby there is also a point with a water fountain.
They symbolize the entire new north-western territory of Berici Climbs, the offshoots of the Castellari Mountains, spectacular places of transition between the Berico plateau and the pre-Alpine slopes.
The very difficult Strada dei Carri (Wagon Road) that leads to the castles in the municipality of Montecchio Maggiore is representative of this part of the park.
A symbolic site for the entire park, of great and rare beauty, beloved by the Giro d'Italia with two stage finishes in ten years. It also hosts two gravel climbs, including the wonderful and pleasant Colonia Bedin.
It represents a bastion, a port of arrival for many climbs in the northern area. A wonderful place surrounded by greenery with breathtaking views of Lake Fimon and the entire pre-Alpine chain.
A symbolic place of the southern block, its large square, the church that looks more like an ancient castle and the panoramic terrace overlooking the Val Liona make Grancona a sought-after and desired destination.
It is a magical place, full of spirituality, where the rock of the hills merges with the human action to draw a perfect frame, a painting from which you can admire the skyline of the Euganean Hills and recover the seconds of time passed, here you can perceive the true essence of Berici Climbs, memento vivere.
The badge that certifies that you are the real heroes! Climbing 50 gravel climbs is a great feat that deserves to be celebrated, because the effort is hard, but even more so is managing to complete a complex journey in an often complicated and crowded life. This is an achievement of resilience and passion, it's your achievement! Hold on to it!

Indicates the length in km of the climb from the starting point to the arrival point

Indicates the average gradient expressed in % of the entire climb
Maximum slope
Indicates the maximum gradient expressed in % reached during the climb
Difference
Indicates the positive difference in altitude in meters (relating only to the uphill part) from the starting point to the arrival point of the climb
Flooring
Indicates the type of flooring of the climb
