* Registration for the Berici Climbs Contests includes membership in AiCS a B&C Ssd a rl, a sports association specializing in organizing cycling tourism events. Please note that, for liability reasons, these contests are reserved exclusively for members, who will therefore be covered by insurance.
Please note that participants will not be issued a "Sports Athlete" card, but a membership card, indicating the discipline "Cycle Tourism" for insurance purposes. This card has no connection to the sports card used for participation in other competitive events.
In fact, AiCS has been providing two types of membership in the cycling sector for several years:
1) Membership card, intended for participation in social activities (in our case, cycle tourism).
2) Sports Card, required for participation in official competitions.
According to sporting regulations and the FCI agreement, dual "sports" membership is not permitted. However, AICS membership of the "association" type has no restrictions and does not fall within the definition of dual membership within the scope of the sporting activity covered by the agreement. It is therefore possible with the AICS Association membership to also hold a competitive sports card of the ACSI or FCI type. typically used to participate in competitive cycling events such as gran fondos.
For further clarification, please refer to the official regulations of the respective federations.
Part of the registration fee will be donated to the Michele Scarponi Foundation, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to combating road violence and promoting training and road safety education projects in schools.
The Michele Scarponi Foundation, which is dedicated every day to spreading a new culture against road violence, because the street belongs to everyone, starting with the most vulnerable!
We are fathers, sons, husbands, wives, girlfriends/girlfriends and our priority is and will always be to go home in the evening to hug our loved ones. We are all fragile, because our life is fragile, and what is fragile is precious and must be protected.
Just as children must be protected. Without children on the streets there is no city. A society where priority is given to the speed of cars rather than children playing in the streets is a society that has no future. Children are fragile, as are we. Here the law of the most fragile must be safeguarded. Because the rest is arrogance. It's the rush of someone who thinks they're right because they're late. And of those who believe that the city is a place to speed around in a car, not a place to breathe, play, grow and compare.
Berici Climbs embraces the values promoted by the Scarponi Foundation, its cycle tourism park, with its one hundred climbs and many itineraries, wants to contribute to the growth of this culture and safeguard the most fragile.

They symbolize the entire new north-western territory of Berici Climbs, the offshoots of the Castellari Mountains, spectacular places of transition between the Berico plateau and the pre-Alpine slopes.
The very difficult Strada dei Carri (Wagon Road) that leads to the castles in the municipality of Montecchio Maggiore is representative of this part of the park.
A symbolic site for the entire park, of great and rare beauty, beloved by the Giro d'Italia with two stage finishes in ten years. It also hosts two gravel climbs, including the wonderful and pleasant Colonia Bedin.
It represents a bastion, a port of arrival for many climbs in the northern area. A wonderful place surrounded by greenery with breathtaking views of Lake Fimon and the entire pre-Alpine chain.
A symbolic place of the southern block, its large square, the church that looks more like an ancient castle and the panoramic terrace overlooking the Val Liona make Grancona a sought-after and desired destination.
It is a magical place, full of spirituality, where the rock of the hills merges with the human action to draw a perfect frame, a painting from which you can admire the skyline of the Euganean Hills and recover the seconds of time passed, here you can perceive the true essence of Berici Climbs, memento vivere.
The badge that certifies that you are the real heroes! Climbing 50 gravel climbs is a great feat that deserves to be celebrated, because the effort is hard, but even more so is managing to complete a complex journey in an often complicated and crowded life. This is an achievement of resilience and passion, it's your achievement! Hold on to it!
